N.Z. FRUIT ON THE HoME MARKET
The Department of- Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has been advised by the High Commissioner for New Zealand, that a consignment of eight cii6es of New Zealand fruit shipped to London per s.s. Itotorua ill April Jast arrived in splendid condition, with the exception of one case of Bourro Bosc pears. The fruit was retailed by Harrods' stores, London, and realised the following prices:—Pears: P. Barry, SOs. per case; Winter Nellis. 275. per case. Apples: Munroe's Favourite, 215.; Jonathan, 18s. to 205.: Delicious, ]Ss.
