SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications ere for strong southerly and westerly winds and cold end * ch«ingedble weather, squally cud showery in many parte of the country. The barometer hits a rising tendency in the north, bnt 1b outeteady in the fcouth. An intense westerly 6torm area, has passed over tho Dominion, and boisterous weather has been.experienced. Bain has fallen generally, and much snow on the higher levels. Sigh northerly and westerly winds prevailed on Saturday and Sunday, but the direction has since changed to southerly, . with decreasing 'force in the southern districts. D. 0. BATES.
