I VICTORIA CLUB'S REPORT. The annual report' of the Victoria y Bowling Club states that the total red ceipts for tho year were £359 ss. 4d., .1 and the expenditure £392 10s. 4d. which increased the debit by £33 ss. r Mile new membors were elected during e the year. The season was commenced e with a membership of 101, but owing to e the war 19 resignations were received. The membership is now 91. Thocham- -- pioir singles of the club were won by .s Mr. Hunt, the handicap singles by Mr. f T "° n L!? sotl i the pairs by. Messrs. Bolton b mi " ucker. and- the rinks by Messrs. n Thompson, Besant, Jackson, and Nor- ) 0 wood. In the Pennant matches the club won four out of six matches (including 5 _ the bye). The club captured the Edwin Feathers from Petone, and success,r fully defended them for the remainder (i of the season. Mr. Hunt represented the club in ■d the Champion Singles competition, and 3, is to be congratulated upon being successful up to the final game, which he lost by a small margin of points. The Champion Pairs competition was won bv tho club's representatives, Messrs. Bolton and Snaddon (s.). after a most oxciting finish. Tlie club has the honour of winning this competition two years running. ' The club was represented m the Champion of Champiouß Rink Competition by Messrs. Martin, Jackson, Redstone, and Hemingway In the Easter Pairs arranged by the centre for the Belgian Relief Fund several teams 1 from, the club competed, I Messrs. Tucker and Hemingway (s.) j carrving off the winning honours.' All the directors . retire from office, and the following nominations have been received:—For president, Messrs. J. S. Keith'and F. North ; for secretary, Messrs. E. Bolton and F. J. Evans: for J" treasurer. Messrs. S. C. Hunt and J, Tvellow'; for directors, Messrs. Baggett, Besant. Bolton, Campbell, Fossette, Godber, Hnughton, Jackson, Kershaw " Marks, North, Scott, Snaddon, Varcoe, ® Walker. . In the statement as assets and liabilities. the former are set down as valued ®at £2280. Against that there is a mortgage of £1000, £100 advanced by s the Bank of New South Wales, and £12 II 7s.
