WELLINGTON LIEDERTAFEL

CONCERT AT TRENTHAM CAMP. A very successful concert was held at Trentham Camp last evening hy the Wellington Liedertafel, under the conductorship of Mr. Robert Parker. Fully 1000 soldiers and their friends attendee!. Seven part songs rendered by the Liedertafel were much _ appreciated by fclio audience. The soloists were: 3lr. F. V. Waters, "The Gallants of England"; Mr. F. J. Carr, "Drink to Mo Only With Thine Eyes"; Mr. J. Seurle, "O Night of Stars and Splendour"; Mr. Charles Clarltson, "Marching Along," with chorus; and Air. W. Hi Warren, "The Admiral's Broom." Each item was encored. Tlie singing of the National Anthom was a feature of tho evening's entertainment) the soldiers joining- in with the choir with vigour.
