■ 1 ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. On account of the Combined Sports Clubs' Gala at Newtown Park on Saturday, it has been decided to postpone all first, second, and third division matches played undor the jurisdiction of the Wellington Football Association. Mr. B. L. Salmon has been appointed referee, and Messrs. F. o'Conn.ell and H. Yeoman linesmen for the match Thistle v. Corinthians, which will bo played on Newtown Park during the afternoon.
