THE HOSPITAL SHIP.
'A SUGGESTION. si (To the Editor.) • . Sir,—Will you pardon my asking a Jj little space in your valuable paper to r make a suggestion re the Hospital Ship. a Do you think it would bo possible to j, have the ship thrown open to the public j for inspection when fitted up? It s seems to me numbers of people would n gladly swell the Patriotic Funds by [, paying Is. admission to be permitted to |, see a floating hospital. It is indeed sad (, to think of the necessity for the ship, „ hut I am sure mothers would be relinved to see how til? comfort of their (J wounded is catered for. Excursion fares (; wore granted to give people the oppor- n tunity of seeing H.M.S. New Zealand, .. and I think ,vou will agree that the < Hospital Ship will fill a position in its (, way equal to that held by our Dread- fl nouelit which has done such good work. s -l am, etc., BED CROSS. * Manaia. j, [Our correspondent's suggestion is a f good one, and deserves the attention of j the authorities.] t
