Specialist and sole controller of the Dr. J. A. Sherman method of treatment, will bring his tenth visit to Wellington to a close, and will leave for Auckland the following day. Prospective patients should understand, therefore, that the time is extremely limited during which they can avail themselves of this, the only scientific method of dealing with their malady. It is an extraordinary question to ask, and one which will never be satisfactorily answered, but, if only to cause reflection, let it be asked, why will people continue to suffer excruciating agony, continuous discomfort, and perpetually bear about with them a disfiguring badge of servitude in the form of a truss, when they know that numbers of people have been permanently cured in this City, as in all other parts of Australasia, by a means which is as available to themselves as it has been to others? The truss does not cure; operations are speculative and risky, and, in a number of cases, trusses have to be resorted to afterwards. The Dr. Sherman method of treatment gives immediate relief and ultimate cure. Patients are warned that they may travel the whole world in search of a cure for rupture, and yet will be unable to find anything approaching iu merit the Dr. J. A. Sherman method of treatment, for those who have at great expense searched far and wide for relief before coming to Mr. Martin have invariably admitted that his method of treatment is the only common-sense method ever brought before them, and the only one which in any way proved satisfactory. Sufferers will please bear in mind that on account of the pressing calls from 6Utferers elsewhere, Mr. Martin cannot possibly extend the time of his stay here. Ho closes in Wellington, as stated above, on Saturday, the 12th, at 6 p.m. All consultations are free. A booklot on Eupture and its Treatment is posted free to any sufferer.
