To all ivho met Mr. Musgrove during his recent visit to New Zealand as j manager of the Nellie Stewart Company (writes "Sylvius"), the news will come | as a great surprise, as Mr. Musgrove , was looking* particularly well whilst he j was in Wellington, and remarked that 3 he always felt at his best when in New j Zealand. Of the Musgrove brothers — a George, Harry, and Frank —the lastr named was probably the best known in j New Zealand. Prior to his last tour f with Miss Stewart, he had not been in s Wellington since Meynell and Gunn sent . him through New Zealand in charge of 5 the original "Fatal Wedding" Dramatic - Company. On his return to Australia s ho became associated with many veni tures. He was owner of the Criterion l Theatre and Hotel Sydney for a brief t period, a property he acquired from ono - of the banks and sold at a good profit, t Hp was also proprietor of a picture . theatre in Pitt Street, Sydney, for somo e years.
