JERSEY BREEDER'S GIFT
■ $ FOR. THE NATIONAL'FUNDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Now Plymouth, June 7. Mr. E. Griffiths, the well-! inown Jersey cattle breeder, has donated his highly-bred Jersey bull Petunes Noble, first and champion at the last New Plymouth Show ,imported from England by him (at a cost of over 150 guineas) to be raffled for under the auspices of tho Taranaki Agricultural Society in aid of the Belgian and National Fund. The tickets are to be 10s. each. Farmers greatly appreciate this generosity, and are anxious to assist in the s-ale of tickets. It is anticipated that farmers throughout the Dominion will take a practical interest in the lottery, and thus ensure a good round sum.
