MARTIAL LAW IN CEYLON
TO QUELL NATIVE FACTION DISTURBANCES. Colombo, June 6. Martial law has been proclaimed in! Ce.vlou owing to disturbances between; Sinhalese and Moormen, which origiu-i ated during holiday festivities at Kandy. The troops at Colombo wore called out, and order restored. No Europeans were injured.
