Official.—""We have had further gains eastward of the Aix Noulette-Souches road, at Nouville, St. Vaast, and tho Labyrinth. Wo now hold two-thirds of the last-named. "We captured, eastward of Tracy-le-Mont, on tho Aisno, in one single rush, two lines of trenches and several works, and repulsed three violent countor-attacks, taking prisoner two hundred, and capturing threo seventy-; seven-millimetre guns." HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. High Commissioner's report:— London, June 7, 2.50 p.m. "North of Arras fighting is extremely activo. and to the advantage of the French. Many successful attacks were mado near the road from Aix Noulette to Souchez, the Allies gaining ground. More houses wore taken at Neuville St. Vaast, while additional trenches were captured in the centre and the south of the 'Labyrinth, 1 and gained one hundred metres. "In the neighbourhod of the sugar mill the French, after a bombardment, carried at one bound two lines of trenches and several works. Three violent counter-attacks were repulsed and two hundred prisoners taken." [This report, in regard to the capture at one bound, of two enemy trenches, is in conflict with the French official communique.]
