"THE DOMINIONS' POINT OF VIEW"
THEIR HOPES AND IDEALS. (Rec. June 7, 6 p.m.). London, June 6. "The Times," in a leading article on "The Dominions' Point of View," says: '■We have frequently warned the people of .Britain against the tendency to assume that because the Dominions are with us heart and soul in the war they are also content with the present Imperial system, and do not desire a change. The Dominions' leaders aro thinking earnestly of future problems of Imperial organisation. Mr. Borden (Canada) and Mr. Fisher (Australia) have expressed the 'opinion that nothing short of organic union will sdlve the problem. Their hopes and ideals may he difficult to realise, but they cannot be ignored without incomparable mischief to the Empire. The new Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr. Bonar Law) is Canadian-born, and he may be trusted to listen with understanding and sympathy."—"Tinies" and Sydney "Sun" Services.
