BRITISH PRIME MINISTER
VISITS TROOPS IN FRANCE QUAINT SCENES AT A BREWERY. London, June 4. Router's Agency reports that Mr. Asquitli (British Prime Minister) this week visited the Headquarters in France. Using a fast motor-car, he visited ail eminence whence lie was able to trace the firing line. Ho addressed ono of the brigades, emphasising the deep appreciation, of those at home,, ft'ho were following tl)o doings of the men at the front. There were quaint scenes during his visit to a brewery, where enormous vats had been converted into baths, each accommodating'twelve men. When Mr. Asquith arrived scores of naked men jumped out. of tho vats and cheered. The Prime Minister conferred with tho British commanders. He had a great reception from tho Indians and Canadians.
