AN INSISTENT NEED IT THE FRONT. London, June 8. Sir Donald MaoAlister, Principal and Vice-Ohancellor of Glasgow University, in his presidential address to the Medical Council, oommented on the insistent need for more doctors, owing to the growth of the new armies. The professional reserves had been fully oalled out, the services of women doctors were being utilised, and senior students in the ranks had been recalled to complete' the curriculum.—("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.)
