SUMMARY AND FORECAST Prcecnt indications aro for easterly breezes northward of Holutika and I/yttelton, and moderate to Bfcrong northerly winds elsewhere. Fair weather is probable generally, but misty at times, especially in tbe East Coast <\nd southernmost portions of the South Island. The barometer has a falling tendency, although little movement Is indicated at present. Yesterday light, rain fell at intervals along the East Coaft of the North Island, end also io the vicinity of Cook Strait, but generally fair weather hos ruled.
