' TWO INQUESTS. The inquests on tbo bodies of John \V. Ralph (found near Ilun Round, Island Bay, on Saturday) and Matthew Bynis Tolliurst (found in t,lio bush at K.arori) liavo been fixed for 4 p.m. toniorraw. RUN OVER BY AN EXPRESS. A man, aged 37 .years, nnmed A. Walker, was admitted to the Hospital last night suffering from injuries received through being run over by an express near tho wharf yesterday. Walker is a married man, aiid resides at 37 Thorndon Quay. A MINER KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Walhi, Jiute 2. Peter Antivis, a miner engaged in tlie Grand Junction Mine, was killed this morning by a fall of quartz in an underground stope. FALL FROM A TRAIN. Christohuroh, June 1. Edward Alger, an old age pensions r, fell from a train at Heathcote to-niglit, and was cut in two, a carriage and van passing over him. He was standing on the platform at tho time and fell off as the train started to move. ACCIDENTALLY KILLED. Christchurch, Juno 2. A_n inquest was held at Lyttelton today concerning the death of Edward Alger, who was accidentally killed by falling from a train at Heiitlicoto Station last evening. The verdict returned was that Alger was accidentally killed by falling from a train. FALL FROM A TRAIN. Wanganui, June 2. Fireman W. J. Douglas fell off the sood trains at Moumahaki at midday and was badly hurt. He was conveyed to t]ie Patea Hospital.
