Medley ran flvo furlongs In lmin. 5 Msec., and Slogan got through exactly the same gallop, but did it ruthor better than tho mure, who, however, gave indications that she would benefit by the sprint. Commotion and Steperina ran sii furlongs in lmin. 24sec., and Ofilcr shaped mora attractively than usual by getting over half-a-mile in 51sec. with Redowa.
Vocation, cutting off the homo cornor, van 53 \-ssec. with Mount Victoria, who travelled over more ground than tho other.
Tho Cornet appeared to be travelling nicely 'when negotiating sii furlongs in lmin. 21soc.
'Clynelish anil Fender both had something in resorvo when doing five furlongs in lmin. 5 2-ssec., the former finishing the better of the two. Pride o' Cluti'ri. in company with Eonmania, \vas not right out in getting fivo furlongs in lmin. 7sec. Hessione strode over a coupla of circuits and i 6 evidently in good shape. Sh* readied for her head and showed a strong desire to Incroaso the pace. Encore ran five furlongs in lmin. ssec., nnd Chrysotis shaped pleasingly in getting over seven furlongs in lmin. 35 2-5 60c., the last six furlongs -in lmin. 21sec.
Buller ran five furlongs in lmin. (isec., nnd was not ridden out, while John Barleycorn apparently held Lion safe when finishing strongly at the end of half a milo in 51 2-ssec.
Sartnmart was pleasing more t'ban Art and Glenongley at the end of half-a-inil» in 52 2-ssec.
Jlultum in Parvo ran half-a-mile in 53sec., and Spocialform ran the last four of five furlongs in 52 2-ssec.
