ALCOOK DINER TOURNAMENT. Throe good games wore played on Tuesday night, the iourta being forfeited to Mr. Mills. That between Lockwood (receive 25) and Bolton (receive 60) was tho hardest yet seen in the tournament. Bolton was leading by 50 points when Lockwood had reached 172 when the latter player showed considerable Knowledge of strategy and no mistaken sense of sontimcnt. and managed to win by a bare dozen points. In the siame between F. A. Nees (recoivo 20) and A. Johnson (receive -10) both playera reached '.MS, when .Johnson missed a difficult shot and left his opponent an easy cannon, and a win. H. H. Porter (receive 10) heat 11.I 1 . KPortoous (receive. 25) someivhnt easily. The balls ran <wcption.il!.v well for t-bo former and rather badly, for tho loser.
