FIRE AT A HALL
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. (Bj Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, June 1. A firo broke out- at the rear of St. Jamcn's Hall, Wellington Street, at one o'clock this morning, but was suppressed after slight damage had been done. There was evidence of incendiarism, a gas jet in a lavatory having been turned on and a piece of piping attached so as to direct the flame on the woodwork.
