LIVE STOCK SALES
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sales at Waugamu on May 26, and at Waverlcy on July 28. At Wanganui wc had a small yarding of sheep and cattle. The ehnep met with a much, better demand, than has been the ease at rccent sales. and prices improved considerably. At Waverlcy we had a small yarding of sheep 'and cattle. We quote:—At Wanganui: Fat we there, 256.; small 2-tooth wethers, 17s. 7d.; 2-tooth ewe 3 in lamb to S.D. rams, 176. 7d.: store ewes, 135.; lambs, 10s., 12s. 3d. to 13" lid. Cattle: Forward cow 3, £*) 10s.; rsnngin? heifers. £7 10s. At Waverley: Six-tooth and f.f.ra. 'ewes in lamb to S.D. rami?, 19s. 6d.; lambs, 10s. to 13s. Bd.; 20-month rteers, .-63 125.; store oows, £2, to £3. •
