Some very fine statuary has been donated to the Patriotic to be raffled for the New Zealand Siok and Wounded Fund, consisting of five half life-size bronzed figures of Robert •Burns, the great Scottish poet, and five half life-size bronzed figures of Unus de Milo. Lovers of .art will probably to it that they do not miss a few tickets in this raffle. Tickets will be obtainable at Newtown Park on Thursday. Mr. R. Sorenson, land agent, of Hastings, inserts a now advertisement in our land column, and states that during the last three months he has sold no fewer than thirtv-ttaee properties.
