ITcesre. "W. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale in their JLarunborough sale yards on Saturday (owing to their usual day—Thursday —hoincf inconvenient). A good yarding of sheep camc forward and met with good competition, and the whole yarding was sold.- at auction. The cattle entry was above advertised nnmhers, and as advertised the firm oifered on account of Mcssig, "M/Lar'en Eros., Bueh Gully, their entry of cows and calves, which brought good values considering their condition. Tho following prices were realised Sheep: Fat ewes. fßs. 2d.; fat and forward wethers, 216. Id.; fat and forward lambs, 14s. 4d.; forward etoro ewes. 16s. Id.; forward storo wethers, 17s. 2d.; shorn lambs, medium, 9s ; fair, 6s. lid.; culls, 6s. Id.; b.L lambs, medium, 9s. 4d.j s.m. ewes in lamb to Bomncy raras. 13s. 2d. Cattle: Station cow 3, £2 95.; mixed P.A. and S.lf. weauer calves, 52e. 6d.; eighteen-month 6teers, £3 7s. 6d. to £3 10s.; two and three-year heifers in calf, £4 10s.; store cows, £3 Is. to £ 3 s£ '^ bul i s ' £2 10s., £3, to £4 Bs.; calves. 20s. The firm also sold one bull, donated to Wounded Soldiers' Fund by Master Willio Patterson, for £2 10s.; and one pet lamb, donated to Hospital Skip Fund by Miss liosie Bliffett, which, after brine Bold several times, realised £9 6s,
