The local committee representing meat producers and meat exporters which met to fix the price of moat after tlio recent conference in Christchurch laid down prices which were to remain in force until to-dav, then it was said that a further meeting would bo hold to make another rearrangement of prices. This meeting will take place 011 Thursday, and, iu all probability, thero will bo a general riso in the price of meat.
