Coronation Day iB fixed for Thursday next, and a big sum is anticipated during the ensuing days. The result of the election was as follows 1 Miss Norma Loisel (Tolaga Bay), 984,440 votes (Queen). Miss Ka'thleen Fromm (Sports candidate), 452j370. Miss Mary Taylor (Waiapu County), 374,087. Miss Ivy Parker (Cosmopolitan Club and Commercial Travellers), 310,827. Miss Vera Mac Donald (Waikohu), 231.812. Mrs. A. Zachariah (Territorials), 111.517. Miss Rita Caulton (Rowing Clubs), 75,414. Miss Gladys Cooper (Friendly Societies), 50,218. Miss Gena Cumming (Motorists), 36,621. Mrs. Grayson (Cook County), 26,806. The whole of the proceeds go to tho Patriotic Funds.
