A communique states: JMghteen French aeroplanes, each carrying projectiles weighing 110 pounds, to-day bom- barded the aniline dyoworks at LudwWshafen. now one of the most important explosive factories in Germany. Several buildings were struck, and numerous fires started. The aviators were nearly six hours in the a.ir. This was the retaliation for the airraid on Paris. [Ludwigshafon is on the left hank of the Rhino, opposite Mannheim. It has important manufactories of wool and chemical products.]
