A PETTY QUARREL
(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Roc. May 28, 8.15 p.m.) Sydney, May 28. Mr. Knox, in a letter to the Press regarding his cablegram to Java ordering sugar, declares that one cablegram was held up for two days, the result being the detention of the sugar, which was re-offered to him at a higher price, nnd could only accept the offer because the company was bound by arrangement with the Now South Wales Government to provide a supply during tile shortage period.
