At a meeting of the Hospital Board several members spoko in indignant tones of the treatment of a returned trooper, who, it was stated, came hack from I'lgypl suffering from tuberculosis, lie wandered about the streets for some time, and finally found liis way to the hoard's dispensary, where it was discovered for the first time that he was simply in a state of eollapse. One member said he was astonished to learn that the Defence authorities had not provided for the man. The local bodies also must he held responsible for the treatment- of returned troopers. The matter was an absolute disgrace. . It- was decider! to ask flic I'uhlir Health Committed to investigate and take action.
