SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications aro for strong northwesterly to south-westerly winds. Oloudy and unsettled weather, with rain, is probable, especially southward of New Plymouth and Napier. , Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency, but probably rising everywhere by to-mor-row evening. Cool and changeable conditions have ruled, with parsing shawms in many parts of the country. Moderate to (Strong' westerly winds have prevailed, and the barometer has been unsteady. D. 0. DATES.
