LAW REPORTS

SUPREME COURT A WILL INTERPRETED In the Supreme Court yesterday, the Registrar (Mr. \\'. A. Hawkins) delivered the reserved judgment of His Honour Mr. Justice Chapman, in the caso of the Public Trustee v. the widow (Margaret Weatherspoon Virgin) and two infant children of Frederick John Virgin, ol' Taranaki (deceased). An originating summons had lieen brought to • determine the respective interests of the parties under a will. There were several peculiarities in the will, said His Honour, which made it difficult to construe, but there could be 110 doubt that a joint tenancy in the three beneficiaries had been created, and that they should take equally among them the wliolo estate. Mr. J. \V. Macdoriald, with him Mr. P. E. Kelly, appeared for the Public Trustee, and represented the deceased's sons, and Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr. It. Kennedy, for the widow. It was directed that the costs on both 6ides should come out of the estate.
