The verdict provided that costs should be equally divided. As tho Court was unablo to agree to tho proviso, the jury returned to reconsider its verdict. FROZEN MEAT FOR FRANCE PURCHASE SANCTIONED BY CHAMBER. London, May 22. The French Chamber has voted in favour of a scheme to purchase frozon meat in order to assist in the restoration of tho stock of cattle which has been greatly deplotqd. —("Timos" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) REFRIGERATED CARGOES DISCHARGE TO BE EXPEDITED. London, May 21. Mr. Runciman, President of tho Board of Agriculture, says that measures have been taken to expedite tha discharge of Australian and Now Zealand refrigerated cargoes.
