IN connection with the Queen Carnival, a very energetic Committee has been formed to further the interests of our Queen Candidate, and it asks all connected with the Wholesale Trade of Wellington to assist the Committee, in raising funds for our Wounded Soldiers and the Dependents of those who will never return. None of us can do too much, and the Committee asks that ALL Wholesale Houses, Travellers, and Indentors will co-operate in this great object by sending the Committee word by letter or by representatives what form their assistance will take; and, be it great or small, something will be gained. The Committee of Ladies and Gentlemen is very energetic, but requires all the help possible, and trusts this appeal WILL BRING A HEARTY RESPONSE FROM EVERY ' WHOLESALE FIRM OR AGENT in every branch of trade to strengthen both the Committee and tho funds. An attempt has been made to personally interview the different firms and representatives, but this? has been found impossible, and WE APPEAL TO YOU ON BEHALF OF OUR BRAVE NEW ZEALAND BOYS to let us have your answer.
