At their Levin sale oil Friday last. Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., offered, a good, entry of sheep and a- small yarding of cattle. Tho average quality of Ihe sheep which came forward was exceptionally good, and. for most of the Lines submitted there was kosn competition. On account of Mr. M. H. E. Gorringc, they sold 376 good-skinned two and four-tooth wethers at 20s. 6d., 140 two-tooths at 18s. Id., and. 240 empty owes at 12s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that at their monthly sale in the Waikanae yards oil Tuesday last they offered a good yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle.
