Local Bodies, and other Organisations, are invited to take part in the Processions to be held on 3rd and sth JUNE, commencing each morning at ten o'olock sharp, in connection with the CARNIVAL. The proceeds of the Carnival are in aid of the wounded soldiers, and the dependents of those who are killed. The object is such a worthy one that it is not necessary to stress the desirability of all who possibly can taking part. All those who are willing to do their share in this noble work and who can help swell the number in the Processions are requested to comunicate with the Secretary, Mr. H. J. Gillmore, P.O. Box 474. All information has to be in his hands not later than THURSDAY NEXT, 27th MAY, at twelve noon. The rendezvous will be at (the Government Buildings at 9 a.m. sharp, and the Procession will proceed through the principal streets to Newtown Park, whero it will then disband.
