TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION

The quarterly meeting of the Teachors .Superannuation Board was held on luesday. Refunds of contributions amounting to £1484 13s. Id. were made to contributors voluntarily retiring from tlio education service before the retiring age. Retiring allowances to twelve contributors by reason of age or length of service aggregating £I]l2 17s. per annum were granted. The allowances ranged from £52 to £125 10s. per annum. Four widows and eight children were granted the statutory allowance totalling £176, while a widow of a deceased annuitant was granted a refund of her late husband's, contributions, amounting to £215 19s. lid.
