WHERE ARE THE WOUNDED.
GOVERNMENT MAKING INQUIRIES. A Carterton correspondent, "Father,' writes"Would' it not be possible tor tne Defence Department in sending out casualty lists to state where the wounded a,re take.i, thus enabling relatives to cable without delay. I have been endeavouring to find the whereabouts of ray son (reported wounde) since Saturday morning, as .yet without result." Tile Minister of Defence states that at present the Government has_ no information as the particular hospital that individual men are in, but the information has been cabled tor, and periodical reports (for publication) from every hospital have also been asked for.
