On Saturday night (says our Carterton corfospoudont) Mr. W. Chapman's "Rimutaka" motor-bus, of Martinborough, mot ■with nil accident on its i'etum journey from Carterton -with a load of footballers and their friend's. When just past the Morison's -Bush Hotel the bus went over tho side of the bridge, carrying tho handrail -with' it. The drop is about Bto 10 feet-, and passengers, who numbered 26, and seats wero inextricably mixed. Tho whole of the fore-carraige of tho bus was torn fr in the body, and the body dropped solidly on its sido. Fortunately only one passenger sufficed any injury, and sustained a crushed hand. Tho bus was severely damaged. . Mr. A.
