SITTING IN DUNEDIN. 'J^lesraph—Pres* Association-* Dunedin, May 17. Tha Arbitration Court sat this morning to hear the chemical manure workets' dispute. Mr. Breen, for the union, stated that he had just heard that Mr. Soott, the employers' representative, had broken down in health, and lie agreed to an l adjournment of the dispute until the 26th. As regards the ships' tally-clerks' dispute, the President said the Court had come to the conclusion that the union was fairly representative of the workers, and the Court saw 110 reason why the union should not have a dispute. The union was consequently referred back to the Conciliation Council.

Lack of ready cash need not deter any responsible householder from taking advantage of this favourable buying opportunity. The Bristol Piano Co., Ltd., will, if so desired, arrange easy terms of payment. They also offer to country purchasers the further benefit of refunding return railway fares.

Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. insert particulars of an important sale of English motor-cars they are holding to-mor-row. at 11 a.m. sharp, at Messrs. Hedland and Robinson's motor garage, Cambridge Terrace. The cars comprise four Stuart and one Clement Talbot. The former are especially adaptable for taxis, and the Ta'bot could easily be converted into a very fine and powerful lorry. The sale 16 being held under instructions from the holders'of the bill of sale. It is expected ih:it thesr- cars will readily sell. Inspection may be made up to hour of sale, which commences promptly at 11 a.m. The Clement Talbot car will be ilrrf offered.
