ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FOUND DEAD IN BED.
An old man, aged 73 years, named Julius Holtz, was found dead in bed at his home in M'Kenzie Terrace, Karon, on Friday. Deceased, who was a well-known resident of Karori, had been ailing fof some time and it is thought death was due to heart disease. ■ An inquest will be held at 4 p.m. to-day.
UNKNOWN MAN FOUND DEAD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Featherston, May 15. The dead body of an elderly man was found this evening on Mr. Fellingham'B property on the Rimutaka Road. The man's name is not known. It is presumed' t'hat he has been dead a few days. STOREKEEPER SHOOTS HIMSELF. Auokland, May 16. A case of suicide occurred at Howick on Saturday, a local storekeeper, named George Joseph Sellwood, a Justice of the Peace, shooting himself through the • head with a revolver. _ Deceased was a widower, aged fifty-eight, years and had been worried over business matters.
