'JH meeting :of farmers convened by the Otairman Farmers' TJnion this afternoon passed a resolution strongly protesting against the allotment of frozen meat space to South Canterbury for July. On' Saturday the Ballance Dairy Company distributed £4800 to its suppliers for milk supplied during April, payment being made at Is. 2d. per lb. of butterfat. Tho total paid out to date this season amounts to £56,210. This includes bonus money paid out last September.
