CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC WORKS
EXPENDITURE OF TEN MILLIONS. \ Sydney, May 14. The Government has granted a contract to the firm of Norton Griffiths for the construction Of a large number of public works, involving an expenditure of ten millions. The rate of interest will be 5 per cent. , A number of the firm's civil engineers have already arrived.
