ANOTHER ACQUITTAL
(Rec. May 14, 1 a.m.)
Sydney, May 13. At the court-mart'al into the looting charges, Lieutenant Davidson was charged with stealing four German medals, belonging to a person unknown. Lieutenant Davidson said that he took the medals from a miscellaneous collection of stuff after one of tlie skirmishes in New Guinea, as mementos. He showed them to the commanding officer and other officers, and was quite willing to hand them over to their rightful owner as soon as his identity was established. After lengthy evidence Lieutenant Davidson was found not guilty and discharged.
