WESTLAND'S TRIBUTE
(By Teleßraph.—Presa Association.) Hokltika, May 11. At the paonthly meeting of the Westland. County Council a resolution was carried expressing the highest admiration of the 6plendid gallantry of the troops taking part in the Dardanelles operations. It was decided that a congratulatory message on behalf of the people of the County of Westland be dispatched to the fighting force, through the Defence Department, expressive of the cordial feeling of the whole district atv the achievement recorded. Sympathy was passed with the relatives of the brave colonials who died,so nobly, and to the sick and wounded grateful feelings were expressed for the magnificent fight put up. .
