CANADA'S HONOURED DEAD
___ <> MEMORIAL SERVICE AT ST. PAUL'S (Rec. May 11, 11.20 p.rn^) London, May 11. A memorial service for the Canadians was held, at St. Paul's, which was crowded. Mr. Rudyard Kipling, Mr. Bonar Law, Mr. Lewis Harcourt, Lord Lansdowne were present, and many soldiers iu khaki, a considerable proportion of whom were wounded. The Dead March in "Saul" was played, and the bugles sounded the 'tast Post." The Canadian National Anthem was sung. There were thrilling episodes. The Bishop of London quoted passages from a record of an officer's account of the Battle of Ypres.
