SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for unsettled conditions, boisterous in many parts, with Tain generally and snow on the higher levels in the south. The barometer will probably fall further in the north, but ie due to rise everywhere shortly, and strong -westerly winds are likely to change to south-westerly. A westerly area of low pressure has overspread the Dominion, the barometer falling steadily since Saturday. Northerly winds have increased in force, and various stations have reported galea since yesterday. Tlie weather lias become unsettled, with rain in most parts of the country. B. V. PEMBEIITON. The services of a well-known Glasgow minister, the Hey. Stuart Robertson, I'.avn been accepted by a Glasgow firm of engineers to assist in making shells for the Government. He will travel by the workmen's oarly morning train and work the ordinary hours. Interviewed, .Mr. Robertson said that it' ho mado shells during the week to fire at the Prussians and shells on Sunday to fire at the devil, that would be a. fair division.
