FROM SYDNEY DIRECT. Early to-morrow morning the HuddartParker steamer Ulimaroa is due at Wellington from Sydney direct. Her cargo for this port amounts to 530 tone. WESTPOET EXOETS. The returns for the month of April in connection with the port of Westport show that the output end export of coal were as follow:— ' Output, Export, tone. cwt. tonß.cwt. The export of timber amounted to 24,450 superficial feet. During the month 70 steamers, representing 39,870 tons, entered the port, and 71 steamers, representing 42,083 tons, left the port. The total tonnage for the month was 81,953. Overhaul and survey is expected to be completed on Wednesday, when the Maoriland Steamship Company's Ennerdale will leave Wellington for Terakohe in order to load cement for Brisbane. A projected departure from Wellington for London to-morrow will be the ShawSavill liner Arawa. Captain Davey, of the Kamona, arrivod in Wellington from the south by the Maori on Saturday morning. Goode Island reports that the Union, steamer Waihora, bound from Calcntta to New Zealand norts, was spoken off theTO on Monday afternoon last. She should show up at Auckland on Friday next. It is announced that the Union Company's Wakatipu will. return to New Zealand after an absence of at least ten years in Australian waters. Messrs. Bannatyne and Co. expect the coastal steamer Wotton back at Wellington with a load of timber on Wednesday next.. New Plymouth and West Coast oarsco will he taken in at Wellington to-day by the Flora. Bound from St. John to Wellington, the New Zealand Shipping Company's Euapehu is making calls coming down the New Zealand coast. She' will not arrive at Wellinsrton till Wednesday. On account of heavy rain, the A. and A. liner Invertay has been delayed at Auckland. Consequently sho will not arrive till ohout Thursday of this week. Tcleerophic advice from Westport totals the coal shipments test week of the Wertnort Coal Co. at 10.822 tons 9cwt., and coko 36 tons 17<iwt. The Westport-S+ockton Co. shipped 2816 tons 1 cwt.. of coal.
