TO REGISTER- FOR SERVICE WHEN REQUIRED. Sydney, May 8. Referring to Mr. Massey's Auckland speech suggesting that men should register, for service'when required, Senator Pearce (Federal Defencc Minister), replying to a question, said that lie thought there was no occasion to establish a similar register here, as Now Zealand's attitude regarding more men was precisely Australia's attitude since the beginning.
