SECOND ARMY HOSPITAL
GIFT TO IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT.
The Minister of Defence (the Hon. J. Allen) stated to a reporter yesterday that another stationary hospital" has been offered for the use of the Imperial troops. Tha staff will number about 100. Mr. Allen stated that the authorities want us to send beds and) bedding. Most of it will bo procured in England, where it can be got more quickly, but the blankets will be sent from Now Zealand.
Additional comforts can be sent to tho Mayoress (Mrs. J. P. Luke), and Mrs. Luke and her committee will supply necessary details, so that intending contributors will only send along articles which are really needed.
The first stationary hospital being supplied by New Zealand to the Imjperial Government has now been mobilised at Trenthnm, and will sail for England on May 20.
