SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications arc for inoreasliig easterly ami northerly winds, the barometer (ailing shortly. Cloudy anil misty conditions, with ram, are probable northward of Kawhia and Kant Cape, and fair weather elsewhere, but haze and cloudiness are likely to increase generally, and an unfavourable change follow, especially over the* North Island. "Pair weather bap prevailed except in the northernmost districts, where # conditions have been unsettled at times, with .scattered mist and rain.
