A cable message has been resetted by the local office of the Huddart-Parker Company stating that the UHmaroa left Sydney for Wellington at 11 p.m. yesterday. She has 110 passengers on board and should arrivo hero early on Tuesday morning. REMUERA LEAVES HOME. According to cable advice which has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, R.M.S. Remuer» cleared Plymouth for Wellington, via Cape Town and Hobart, on Wednesday, May s—three weeks late. The vessel should arrive here about July 21. DALDORCH ARRIVES HOME. Advice lias been received bjr the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that their chartered steamer Daldorch arrived at Loudon from New Zealand ports on May i. Captain M'Beth, of the Paloona, has come ashore on holiday leave, and Captain A. M. Edwin has taken command of the vessel pro tem. Mr. C. Rule has joined the PaJoona as purser, relieving Mr. G. C. Norton, who has transferred to the Mokoia. Information has been received that the steamer' South Pacific has been fixed to load at New York for New Zealand end Australian ports. After having been overhauled" at Wellington the Mnoriinnd Steamship. Company's Ennerdale will leave for Tarakohe. A telegraph message received from Wellington yesterday stated that thq Chathams Islands Pishing Company's Hirnitangl left there for the Chathams at 11 p.m. on Thursday. Reports received from Greymouth yesterday by the local office of the Union Company stated that the bar at that port was still bad and that, several of the company's boats had been, delayed in consequence.
Arrangements have been made to dispatch the Union liner Mokoia from Wellington for Hobart and Melbourne at noon to-day.
As the Poherua Is due at Wellington from eouthern ports to-morrow. New Plymouth and West Coast cargo will bo loaded at Wellington on Monday. Advice has been received Ijy the Marine Department to the effect that the Government steamer Hinemoa had finished her work at Cape Maria van Diemen, and had arrived at Pouto (Kaipara) yesterday morning. She is due at Onehunga on Tuesday next and at Wellington about May 13. It, is anticipated that the Shaw-Savill Hncr Arawa will get away from Wellington for London, via Monte Video, on Tuesday next.
An expected arrival at Wellington from Timaru to-morrow is the Shaw-Savill liner Zealandic. She will be dispatched for Gisborne, Whangarcl, and Auckland on Thursday next.
A message has been received stating that the steamer La Blanca will load general cargo in, New Zealand about the middle of July for Avonmouth and Liverpool. The allocation of the refrigerator space is in the hands of the Government.
After having undergone ou extensive overhaul on the Patent Slip at Wellington, the coastal steamer Queen of the South came round to a town wharf yesterday. She will resume running in the FoxtonWellington trade on Monday. News from Home states that the Hud-dart-Parker Company's now collier Hebburn is expected to leave London on June 25 for Australia. The vessel has been specially built for the Australian cargo traffic, and has a registered tonnage of about 3500 tons. The steamer Manuka,; which left Wellington for Sydney direct on Thursday evening, took away over 1400 tons of general cargor-a particularly large cargo for an intercolonial steamer to carry from New Zealand to Australian ports.
