Competition was keen throughout the eale and 1 there wiis a good cleft-ranee a-t tho following prices Sheep; Fa-t foxu* and six-tooth wethers, 245.; fat two-tooth wethers, 215.; fat ewes, fat lambs, 15s. to 175.; mediiim B.P. lambs, 10s.; shorn lambs, good, 12s. Id. to 12s. 5d.; medium, fo. Bd. to 9s. 6d.; woolly lambs, medium, 75.; two-tooth ewes and wethers, 12s. 7d.; store ewes, 10e. , : 4d.; four and five-year ewes in lamb to ! Ilomney, 145., 16s. 9d., to 19s. 3d.; two, four, and six-tooth ewes, in lamb to Bomnoy, 15s. 2d.; two-tooth to f.m. ewes in lamb, lie. Id.; f.m. ewes in lamb, 10s. Id.; cull ewes, 45., 7s. 6d. Cattle: On account of Ngakonui Estate, fat heifers, £7 17s. 6d.; fat cows, £8 7s. 6d.; other vendors, fat cowiS/ £8 7s. 6d.; dairy cows, £6 to £6 26. 6d.; weaner heifers, 2ls. We also sold on account of the Belgian Relief Fund one fat lamb donated by Miss M'Whirker, Waingawa, which after being sold several tames rcaJised £13.
